This mode offers simplified toolboxes which do not require any particular skill to add interactivity, such as clickable zones, videos, sounds, links… to an existing publication. The alternative toolboxes simplify the edition and offers specific tools, such as social network related functionalities, buttons, in-place editing…

Ideal for offshore relocation, this mode adapts to your workflow by clearly separating the steps you have, for a successful deployment in your teams.

This package includes the following elements:

Editing rich medias sites is Silex “primary function”. It permits you to translate creative ideas to digital publications. Usable by non-technical profiles, this open source software, allows designers, web integrators (…) to make digital publications without writing any line of code. The Silex work environment offers 3 powerfull tools to produce :

  • SL Builder
    to assemble multimedia content.
  • SL Manager
    to manage multiple publications (properties, plugins, templates…).
  • SL Exchange platform
    to get plugins, fonts, templates directly from SL Community.

This package includes the following elements :

  • showcase templates
    all creative commons, produced by Silex Labs.
    Ready to be edited these templates allows you to to have a library of ready-made publications.
    careful not to generate a too heavy package
  • design kit

Used with Silex work environment, the PDF Import plugin let you create a publication from a PDF generated with any wysiwyg application.

Simplified handling of this plugin allows non-technical profiles to create digital publications.

Graphical sources

graphical assets necessary for a proper customization of your FlipBook catalog.

This package is a ready to use Silex, with all the tools you need to work in teams without any installation, and 100% online, even for image editing.

This mode proposes to share the ability to edit a publication between several designers, or groups of designers. It separates Silex server engine and the publications data, so that one instance of the server can serve the publications of multiple groups of users.

This package includes the following elements:

    • instant messaging

Technical Details

By doing this we allow the users to store their publications data, and serve it by a distant common Silex server. It clearly separates the software from the user content, so it is easier to update Silex, to define groups and make collaboration easy and secure.

This mode integrate SLDialogs which allows users, working simultaneously on the same publication, to chat instantly and get clear messages about changes made by other users (…). These exchanges being made directly in Silex.

Several plugins are also pre installed with this package, in order to integrate other online software available for free, such as pixlr for image editing.
