To use Silex, download it from Sourceforge.net server and then install it on your web server online or on your computer (local).

You can also opt for “.exe” version to download (for windows environment) to maximize the portability of your work environment (you can use USB or external hard drive also.).

To install locally, you need a server which is capable to run on your publishing operating system.
For information, there are several web servers that you can download for free.
